Framing & Hanging Advice
As framing is such a personal choice, my fine art prints do not come with frames, but I do have some framing advice below.
For the absolute best results I’d always advise heading down to your local framers, as they are the professionals when it comes to framing and can give advice about various mounts and frames to suit your personal taste.
There are many many frames on the market that suit my ‘standard sized’ prints so feel free to shop around and use the measurements on my website (in the tab on the product pages) to find one that matches your print.
Below is an example of a frame that a client purchased from John Lewis, they purchased an ‘ivory’ coloured mount separately from their local framers, but I just think it suits my print ‘All My Love’ so beautifully. This is the A2 size:
A few extra bits of advice:
- Always handle the artwork with clean, dry hands, to avoid fingerprints.
- Only use hangings appropriate to the weight of the artwork, if in doubt seek advice from a professional framer or seek professional installation. Personally, I would never recommend any type of ‘tape’ or ‘glue’ to hang artwork, as you don’t know what damage it might do to the canvas.
- Avoid direct sunlight. I’d always advise displaying any artwork away from direct sunlight to prevent fading or discolouration.
