Description

Last autumn, I had the most vivid dream!

I was standing in a beautiful field of foxgloves with my grandma, who passed away before I even began my art journey.

Surrounded by endless foxgloves, she told me they were her favourite flower to see me paint.

It gave me a sense of peace and fuelled me with inspiration. But since that dream happened, my life took an unexpected turn and my dad was diagnosed with a brain tumour and sadly passed away in April.

So now has been the first time l’ve finally able to put that vision onto canvas

This wildflower painting is the most detailed foxglove painting I’ve ever created, and the most foxgloves l’ve ever painted in a single artwork! As this piece came to life, I couldn’t stop thinking about that dream.

If you’ve lost someone you love, you’ll know how much the little things can mean. A dream that feels so real, a flower that appears at just the right moment, a robin, bumblebee or butterfly, giving you a feeling that they’re somehow still close by.

Whether you call them signs, memories, or something more spiritual, they can stay with us forever.

Always handle the artwork with clean, dry hands, to avoid fingerprints.

Only use hangings appropriate to the weight of the artwork. I’d always advise displaying any artwork away from direct sunlight to prevent fading or discolouration.

As framing is such a personal choice, my fine art prints do not come with frames. There are many many frames on the market that suit my ‘standard sized’ prints so feel free to shop around.

But for absolute best results I’d always advise heading down to your local framers, as they are the professionals when it comes to framing and can give advice about various mounts and frames to suit your personal taste.
