Description
I started this piece just a week before my dad died. Just as everything became… intense. I found myself noticing beauty everywhere… especially sunbeams. They became a little reminder that even in the darkest moments, there’s still light.
Grief is such a strange thing, some days feel like yourself, and others completely catch you off guard, full of the weight of loss and sadness (if you’ve ever lost someone you love, you’ll know exactly what I mean).
This painting became part of my healing journey and way of turning some of that sadness into something beautiful, and I hope it brings a little comfort to anyone who needs it.
I’m keeping the original for now, I just can’t part with it yet, but the limited edition fine art prints are now available.

Always handle the artwork with clean, dry hands, to avoid fingerprints.
Only use hangings appropriate to the weight of the artwork. I’d always advise displaying any artwork away from direct sunlight to prevent fading or discolouration.
As framing is such a personal choice, my fine art prints do not come with frames. I always suggest you taking your print to a local framer to provide you with the best framing advice. However if it is a ‘standard size’ print you have purchased, there are many frames ‘off the shelf’ to choose from.
But for absolute best results I’d always advise heading down to your local framers, as they are the professionals when it comes to framing and can give advice about various mounts and frames to suit your personal taste.
